More hats and some acorn bowls
I made more hats!
Also, I picked up some acorn caps on a hiking trip last weekend. I sanded down the tops, and turned them upside down to make bowls. I also stained them. I haven't decided what to fill them with, but I was thinking apples or a fall bouquet.
I have a log cabin that Miss Hickory, her Aunt Hickory, and two Hickory children live in. They like stew in their acorn bowls! Nut Stew, of course! I gather up tons of acorns and caps every fall--and use them all winter for hats (clothespin people) and bowls.
Enfriar los sombreros y barro tomado de bellotas muy buena idea, sin duda pondrá las manzanas o las flores que será muy bien
ReplyDeleteLove your little acorn bowls! What a great idea!
